The Tacchini Julep sofa at QuartoSala

01/03/2024

The Julep sofa, designed by Scandinavian designer Jonas Wagell, draws inspiration from the Avant-Garde movement of the 1950s, which proposed simplified, streamlined forms and a mix of vibrant and pastel hues.

This is one of the most well-known models in the sofa collection designed for and produced by the Italian brand Tacchini.

Rounded lines and generous shapes reflect the spirit of the entire collection designed and edited by Tacchini since 2018. The Julep collection consists of a sofa, an armchair, a chaise-longue, and an ottoman, in a play of proportions and forms that inform all versions of this line.

The Julep collection is on display in the new Tacchini ambience created by QuartoSala in its store at Rua de O Século, Príncipe Real, in Lisbon.

Tacchini is an Italian brand founded in the late 1960s by Antonio Tacchini, which maintains the epicentre of its production in the Brianza district, situated between Northern Milan and Como, in the Lombardy region of northern Italy.
