QuartoSala presents a new Design platform in Lisbon

25/05/2024

Design em Lisboa is a digital platform designed and developed by QuartoSala to give visibility to projects, architects, designers and artists that are part of the transformation process of the city and are contributing to the creation of a new designing landscape in Portugal.

With an editorial perspective, a curation and dissemination of the most interesting and unexpected projects is carried out, and articles and interviews with established and emerging talents are published, related to the world of interior architecture as well as other artistic and creative spheres, such as painting, sculpture, and photography.

QuartoSala's intention with this new platform is to understand how this community linked to interior architecture is interacting with Portuguese cultural heritage and reinventing tradition with modernity.

The first featured project is by interior designer Laurence Beysecker, who has led various projects in Paris, Hong Kong, and Sweden over the past 20 years before moving to Lisbon, where she founded her own studio.

Maison Amarande reveals to us in its first project in Lisbon, a fully restored 19th-century four-story house in the Amoreiras neighborhood with a garden and pool.
