The Pacific collection was designed in 2021 by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso. It is a continuation of the design process that started in 2010 and gave us the Redondo collection, the designer’s prior collaboration with the brand.
And just like the Redondo design, it is an organically shaped sofa with an enveloping seat.
The new collection provides a unique seating experience. “It's like being wrapped in a protective and relaxing cocoon", says Urquiola.
"The Pacific sofa represents the evolution of a collection that has been very successful in recent years, not only due to the use of innovative and luxurious finishes, but also because we focused more on form, lines, and generous curves," adds Moroso's artistic director, Patrizia Moroso.
The upholstery was designed to be extremely comfortable, with options that include bouclé, wool, or velvet.
