The Bossa chair marks the beginning of the young Brazilian designer with the furniture industry. Designed in 2007, the Bossa chair has a solid Ash wood structure in natural tones, an upholstered seat and backrest in woven rattan straw.
The Bossa chair brings to memory formal elements of the traditional Brazilian furniture.
It remains, to the present day, one of the most cherished and recognisable pieces in the vast array of designs by Jader Almeida.
In 2017, to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Bossa chair, three new lines were launched, in a limited edition of 300 signed chairs, with seat and backrest in natural woven straw, with an aged finish.
The Bossa chair also has a version with the seat and backrest in aramida straw, in a black ebony finish.
QuatroSala congratulates the designer on the 10th anniversary—and for many years to come—of the Bossa chair.
