New Ombria Resort in Algarve

25/07/2024

The Ombria Resort Project is a new luxury tourism and residential development in the interior of the Algarve, based on the values of sustainability and a philosophy of Slow Living.

The Ombria Resort Project is a new luxury tourism and residential development in the interior of the Algarve, fully integrated with nature, located in the municipality of Loulé. The resort aims to be a pioneer of a new generation of resorts that are seamlessly integrated into the landscape with low building density.

The first phase is nearing completion, along with the Viceroy Hotel at Ombria Algarve, which includes a total of 65 tourist apartments, of which only 3 units remain available for sale.

João Richard Costa, Commercial Director of the Resort, assures that "This commercial success is due to the quality of the project, its integration with the landscape, the fact that the tourist apartments are part of a 5-star hotel, and the ability for owners to combine personal use with a revenue-generating component through tourist rentals."

The client at Ombria Resort particularly values the experience, exclusivity, and personalized service. João Richard Costa adds that "Luxury is not just about the premium finishes of a hotel room or the rates charged by the hotel units. A luxury client today has expectations beyond the price. Luxury is reflected in the way the client is welcomed, in the exclusivity of the service, and, of course, in the architecture of the spaces and the interior design."

The sustainability of the project and the tranquil lifestyle at the heart of the Resort’s philosophy are highly sought after by international clients, particularly from countries like the UK, Benelux, France, the US, and Portugal.

"At Ombria Algarve, we made it a point to preserve the past and prepare for the future. We rehabilitated 2.5 km of old water channels, which, together with a natural lake that reuses rainwater, are used for efficient irrigation of the golf course (certified by the GEO Foundation). We invested 2 million euros in one of the largest geothermal systems in the Iberian Peninsula. This innovative system will meet the heating and cooling needs of the interiors, the production of hot sanitary water, and the heating of the swimming pool water," concludes Commercial Director João Richard Costa.

The first phase of the project also includes the construction of the Oriole Village, which is in pre-commercialization phase, with 20% of the units already reserved.

The Ombria Resort consists of a total of three construction phases, with completion scheduled for 2030.
