Bellini advocated a revolution in seating: he devised a collection of armchairs and sofas, downplaying structure in favor of greater informality and freedom of movement to sit and relax.
The Le Bambole collection quickly won iconic status, winning a Compasso d'Oro in 1979, an industrial design award that originated in Italy in 1954. Le Bambole was the object of a novel marketing campaign, with photographs by Oliviero Toscani featuring Andy Warhol's muse, Donna Jordan.
Fifty years after the initial creation, B&B launches a commemorative edition of Le Bambole collection, in a radically renewed version, thanks to new design choices and fabrics of the latest generation that make the seating even more comfortable and increasingly sustainable.
Le Bambole, includes the renewed Bambola armchair, the Bibambola and Granbambola sofas, and the Bamboletto double bed. All with a new range of colors.
