The designer was awarded three Casa Vogue Design 2019 awards, one as Designer of the Year, one for the Ícaro series for Portobello and, finally, one for the Air Collection furniture design.
Jader Almeida is the artistic director of Sollos since 2004, a series that has over fifty pieces that he designed and went into production.
The exhibition took place between the 11th to the 19th of march 2019 in a modernist building from the fifties, at Jardim América, in São Paulo, showing iconic pieces alongside novel designs, in a harmonious coexistence.
One of the novelties was the presentation of the Doty line of furniture design, launching the Sollos outdoor collection.
The new collection has outdoor tables, sofas and chairs. We also want to call your attention to other two new pieces: the Ella chair and the Aris dinner table.
