Marcio Kogan, 67 years old, is one of the most internationally renowned Brazilian architects of his generation. A sworn admirer of Brazilian modernism, he created many iconic buildings, which can be found mainly in São Paulo.
In 2018, he designed the Quadrado seating system for Minotti. A modular line featuring minimal volumes and materials, to furnish both small and large open-air spaces. The material used in this series of sofas and tables is teak wood, and the collection is inspired by the classic teak duckboard used in the yachting industry.
This year Minotti has appraised its sofa collection and had the sofas redesigned to have a shorter deepness, while maintaining the same contemporary style.
