These three attributes help us to ascribe Alessandro Mendini, Michael de Lucchi, Achille Castiglioni and Riccardo Dalisi to the history of Design.
Milanese artist Elena Salmistraro designed for Bosa, 'Most Illustrious', a tribute to these Italian design masters.
Salmistrano presents us with a collection of three-dimensional ceramic sculptures finely decorated with colored enamels, which cleverly combine the essential traits of the four designers and the works that made them famous.
About “Most Illustrious” Samistrano says: “It is a gift to those people that, maybe unknowingly, have given so much to my perception of design. Their commitment and their works have modelled and educated my vision and my taste; as truthful masters, they had no need to introduce themselves, to speak or to tell their ideas to stand out; the energy of their creations was sufficient to make me understand who they really were and what was their vision, proving that all designers are what they create, in the end. I had fun mixing colors, stacking objects and shapes to create a sort of tribute that, with great humility, shows my way of seeing them.”
These small artistic figures are part of the “Most Illustrious” collection for Bosa, the Venetian international brand with more than forty years of creation and passion for handcrafted ceramics.
You can find Bosa and the “Most Illustrious” collection in our store at Rua do Século.
