Stellar Nebula is a family of blown glass lamps designed by Studio BIG, an international collective of architects, designers and planners. The core idea of this lighting project was to bring artisan techniques and industrial production together.
Each handcrafted piece is blown into a standard mold by a master glassmaker in Venice, who then softly reshapes the piece to be unique. And the innovative dichroic PVD finishings give the globe its iridescent appearance and multicolored reflections, like those of a celestial nebula.
The collection includes pendant, floor, table and ceiling lamps. In the suspension version, the lamps come in three dimensions - diameters of 22, 30 and 40cms - while the floor, table, ceiling and clusters come in one single size. All models feature an integrated LED light source.
