The German industrial designer confesses that it was a wish of his own that triggered the creation of Tizio: "I always wished that I could have a light strictly directed at the sheet of paper I was reading, while leaving the rest of the space in a kind of semi-darkness."
With this motivation and his ingenuity, Sapper redesigned the standard desk lamp, creating one that was completely adjustable, integrating a precise and intense yet small light source, allowing the user to direct the light source exactly where it is needed most.
Artemide is launching a version limited to five thousand luminaires, now with a new integrated LED source and in his favorite colour, a vibrant red.
