265 Chromatica: inspired by the art of Alexander Calder

20/01/2022

Discover the new version of this lamp designed by architect Paolo Rizzatto for the Italian brand Flos.

Designed in 1973, the 265 was inspired by the sculptures of American artist Alexander Calder, it was a homage to colour in painting.

The adjustable steel arm can reach over two meters from the wall and the light source has a rotation of 360º. This attribute makes this wall lamp very versatile and suitable for spaces of different natures, from offices to lounge areas. At home, we can imagine that the 265 may be the lighting you need for a dining room table or an adjacent living room.

Launched in 2021, the 265 Chromatica follows the original colour proposal, but the new luminaire has finishes in vivid primary colours, each colour defining a key element of the lamp: yellow for the counterweight, blue for the arm and red for the lampshade.

The 265 Chromatica is on display at our store at Paço de Arcos.
