With almost 60 years of continuous presence in the Flos collection, Snoopy is a must-have in the history of design and lighting. He was inspired by one of the most famous characters in animation, Charlie Brown's famous dog by the American cartoonist Charles M. Schulz.
When the work was an international success, the Castiglioni brothers, Achille and Pier Giacomo, launched the Snoopy model at the end of the 1960s, in an initial black version. It remained in the brand's catalogue until the second version was launched in green and then orange.
In 2017, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the table lamp, the reissue returned to the original matt black finish, in a limited and numbered collection of 1700 pieces. The base has always been Carrara marble.
Flos is proud to pay tribute in this way to one of the creations most recognised by design fans.
